F. S. Coelho is the creative force behind The Displacement Maps, a solo project conceived in 2006, together with Somewhere Beyond Records. His compositions function as sonic expeditions, unearthing hidden emotions and provoking intense introspection through sound.

After years of quiet development, he released his debut full-length Stochastic Events of Everyday Life in 2023, a cinematic journey that plays like a soundtrack to a tasteless scientific-horror B-movie.

His 2025 follow-up OBSOLESSENTIAL shifted gears into electronic-driven territory, continuing his exploration of the unconventional.
